My Seven Black Fathers - A Conversation About Black Fatherhood With Will Jawando | ITBP S6E29

In this week's episode we once again return to the "Black Light" as we're joined by Father, Husband, Activist, Civil Rights Attorney, and now Author; William "Will" Jawando. We discuss his new book "My Seven Black Fathers: A Young Activist's Memoir Of Race, Family, And The Mentors Who Made Him Whole". Will explains the challenges of growing up as the biracial child of a White mother from Kansas and a Nigerian father in the DMV area during the 80s. He also helps us to understand the importance of Black Fatherhood, especially in communities of Color, and how the influence of the seven Black men in his life still help to forge his understanding of the world around him today. All that and much more.
